b'Promoted Information centreThe Hitchin Information Centre is a valued asset in our community and offers visitors to the town centre a wide range of information, directions, recommendations and Hitchin related products. Since its refurbishment in 2020 we have seen a dramatic increase in users to the Information Centre. Our trained Front of House staff have welcomed over 2,000 members of the public, offering advice and information.H-Town NewsWe produced a newspaper which was delivered to all 15,000 homes and businesses in Hitchin, detailing news and information from the Hitchin BID community. It includes business features, new shop openings, positive stories from the past 12 months and plans for the year ahead. Business AwardsTo formally recognise the admirable resilience many companies have shown over the last 12 months, we launched the new Hitchin Business Awards. The public and employers had the opportunity to vote for individuals or businesses (under a number of categories) deserving of an award, detailing the reasons why they chose this business or person.
